- Step data is sourced from the HealthFit/Health Connect app.
- Participation is voluntary, and users consent to sharing step data for ranking.
- Step data is used exclusively for the program, not shared with unauthorized third parties, and no additional personal health information is collected or stored.
3. Global Leaderboard & Score Sharing
3.1 What Data Is Uploaded
Step Arena includes a Global Leaderboard feature that allows users to compete with others based on their daily step counts. When you choose to participate in the leaderboard, the following data is uploaded to our servers:
- Your step count (sourced from HealthKit / Health Connect on your device)
- Your display name or username as set in the app
- Your leaderboard rank and participation period
3.2 Your Consent
By granting Step Arena access to HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), you acknowledge and consent to the collection and upload of your step data to our servers for the purpose of Global Leaderboard participation. The system-level health data permission prompt clearly indicates that step data will be accessed by the app.
- Your consent is established when you approve the HealthKit / Health Connect permission request presented by your device's operating system.
- Step data collected under this permission is used to calculate and display your leaderboard score and rank.
- Your display name and step score will be visible to other participants on the Global Leaderboard.
If you do not wish your scores to be shared, you may revoke health data access at any time through your device's Privacy & Security settings, or opt out via the app's Settings screen as described in section 3.4 below.
3.3 How Leaderboard Data Is Used
- Leaderboard data is used solely to rank participants and display standings within the Step Arena app.
- Your step data is not sold, rented, or shared with unauthorised third parties.
- Aggregate or anonymised statistics may be used to improve app performance and features.
3.4 Withdrawing Consent & Data Removal
You may withdraw your consent at any time by revoking Step Arena's access to HealthKit / Health Connect through your device's Privacy & Security settings. Revoking access will stop any further step data from being uploaded; however, scores already submitted to the Global Leaderboard will remain visible. If you wish to have your existing leaderboard data removed, you may submit a request via the Delete Account page or by contacting us at contact@watchyourhealth.com.
4. Face Scan Data
- No face data is collected or stored by the app.
- Face images are converted into pixelated data in real-time and are not stored within the app.
- The pixelated image is used to calculate face vitals using PPG (Photoplethysmography) technology on a real-time basis.
- Once the output is calculated, all face-related data is discarded immediately.

The app captures facial data through the device camera to analyze subtle skin color variations caused by blood flow. This data is processed to calculate health vitals, including:

The Health Risk Assessment (HRA) is based on responses to a questionnaire covering lifestyle, body composition, and family medical history. The calculation is derived using permutations and combinations of the provided answers. This assessment is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or evidence. It does not replace professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment. Data Processing
The captured facial frames are pixelated and processed on the device using advanced algorithms. No personally identifiable information (PII) or images leave the device during this process.

Only the calculated results are stored. No raw face data or images are retained after processing.
